4. The best time to visit
Bali is located about 8 degrees south of the equator. Therefore you can expect a tropical, warm and humid climate all year around – with two main distinctive seasons: Dry Season and Rainy Season.
April to September in Bali is the dry season, meaning rainfall amounts are minimal, temperatures are steady and the sun is always ablaze in the sky. It’s also the high season, in terms of travel, when most tourists flock to Bali. High season also means that prices on pretty much everything are higher this time of year, as opposed to prices in the off-season.
June, July and August are the busiest travel seasons in Bali so expect crowds.
