Great photo opportunities and a lovely walk, less crowded in the mornings, and it is essentially free! There is a farmer (i assume) who asks for donations halfway through the terrace, but giving a small donation is no problem considering the land needs maintenance with all the tourists who visit. Some of the paths can get quite steep and difficult so be warned if you are less agile!
3. Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

4. Campuhan Ridge Walk

The ridge part itself was a lot shorter than i imaged, you can finish the walk in 15 minutes! And there is really only one part which gives you nice views. However, if you keep walking on, you soon come to a small road which has spas and cafes along with it, but most of all it is surrounded by rice paddies which look amazing! We stopped at a cafe overlooking them and it was so peaceful!

Sound of waves crashing, scenic view, peaceful surroundings. The temple is a perfect combination of all of these. Famous amongst local and tourists this place is must visit when in Bali. It is good to place to be for admiring sun set. The temple remain closed most of the time except for ceremonies held couple of times around the year. You can take pictures at many spots and let the peace sink in you with nature’s beauty. Green coconut outside the temple and ice creams are also good to try.

This place is definitely worth a visit even just for the views of the ocean. The temple is built on a cliffside with beautiful surroundings Watch the monkeys when you first come in as our driver told us they have a habit of stealing things. It is best to leave it until the end of the day and watch the sunset over the ocean and then watch cultural Hindu show at the end of the day including the traditional Kecak dance, which is astoundingly good even if you have no idea of the story 😛

Asia’s largest Waterpark! The water slides are so much fun and safe with all levels of thrills. They have the world’s longest waterslide, The Constrictor. Our favorite was the Boomerang and we went on it over and over again. We have time to relax in the lazy river and gazebo before the end of our day!
There is a big selection of food available too and it’s actually good and at reasonable prices. Enjoyed the nachos and the burger. You pay everything by adding money to a wrist bracelet (they take credit card) and any funds leftover are returned to you at the end in cash. They had showers available with soap and shampoo to wash off and feel clean after a day of fun at a waterpark.

Cost: Rp 50k
It’s a lake on top of a mountain so expect the place to be cold. The temple is just stunning which is further enhanced by the lake and mountain backdrop. Landscaped gardens just add to its already compelling beauty. The island-like temples located on the shore of the lake is a great place for photography. You can walk around the neatly landscaped garden and simply have a peaceful time. You can rent a boat or ride a speedboat for a fee. But the scenery and the temperature can already make you feel relax.

I was really excited about this place but was just a little bit dissatisfied that the cage ride was so quick. I would have at least thought that there would be more animals to interact with. Nevertheless, it was still an amazing experience to come so close to these majestic animals and to see them in their natural habitat. The all-you-can-eat buffet was exceedingly good and one of the better meals I had so far. The animals look well fed and well looked after.
10. Water Rafting

The rafting was so cool. We enjoyed it a lot. They gave us comfortable services (pick up and drop, clean towels, clean shower, even a plastic bag to put our wet clothes from the rafting), lunch was ok, affordable price. We could even stop under the waterfall and to swim.
